Hi Pete
well it was really worth the the work and possible you should be pitching this as an article in the mainstream photographic press or even beyond , might be a way of enlarging the debate and getting payment at the same time. In the meant time i will let you know when the Release Day project is finished and will try and return the complement on my very occasional blog by linking you in , all the best Louis

Hi Pete thought your presentation was very interesting and quite unique, are many their many people doing this kind of work? .

Strangely enough, on another subject, i am just starting a piece on offenders Called Release day, have been waiting for ages for MOJ clearance and it looks like we have it, I am curious as to why you have set up your blog and its purpose maybe i can learn something that may guide my approach.

Thanks Pete,
How do the cafes in Seattle compare with the ones in the UK NW?......
I know unchanged cafes are dying out..still some left in the post industrial areas of Britain.
This one is unusual as its run by Cypriot Refugees & unchanged since the sixties in Oxford.
I wanted to start a discussion about the rise of intiatives by foreign agencies and media groups such as Magnum & VII to train, implement and represent photographers in the countries of their birth where foreign photojournalists have traditionally sought projects i.e Central Asia,Middle East,Africa.
Do in general also photographers photographing their own issues and homeland take better pictures? or does this all depend on training, education and empathy with the subject anyway?.
How should I word it accurately? Thanks

hi Pete, saw your group and was very interested. I am on Paul's MA and my interests lie in the representation of other cultures/groups. My website is being updated right now but should be available to view my work in a few weeks. Once it is I will send a tweet! Cheers Amelia
