Biography: I got a degree in Social Sciences and Journalism before working as a photojournalist for a newspaper in southern Spain.
In 1995 I moved to London where I obtained an MA in Photography at Goldsmiths College where I also taught for several years afterwards.

I have been an architectural photographer since 1997 undertaking assignments for architectural firms and designers whilst also contributing to several magazines, newspapers and publishing companies.
In 1997 I also did a brief Internship with Magnum Photos and made contributions to the Architectural Association picture library.
In 2002 and 2003 I was shortlisted finalist at the Photo España Descubrimientos competition.

Since 2003, I am based in Barcelona working freelance and further exploring my interest in documentary photography work. I continue to contribute to different academic institutions by giving talks and workshops.

Specialities & interests: Architecture as a visual art form, architecture as a text susceptible of being interpreted in many different ways. Constantly trying to emphasize a personal style in addressing architecture, depicting the way contemporary buildings are making an impact in the re-shaping of the urban space.
Furthermore I continue to work on contemporary documentary projects exploring issues related to immigration, multicultural societies, the transformation of the landscape and social fabrics of the urban space.

Avid reader of literature and essays on current affairs I am particularly interested in politics and international relations in the Middle East and south America. Mad about food, people and everything everything else
