- Born at December 1. 1958 in a village in northern Germany; beginning to find interesting in photography in the age of 12; living in Hamburg since 1982; study from 1982 until 1989 in Hamburg; from 1989 until 1990 engineer TU-HH; since 1991 engineer in civil service. Since 2009 member of Freundeskreis der Photography in the Deichtorhallen of "Haus der Photography" in Hamburg.
Passion in Photography from 1970 until today; first exhibition 2002.
