Biography: Hello my name is Hazel Buckley and I am a freelance photographer living in the northern suburbs of Perth, WA.
My business is Hazel Buckley Photography which keeps me busy with portraits, weddings and commercial work. I work regularly for a Perth Based Magazine, Flourish and shoot (for love) for WA Circus School.

I part studied city and guilds some 10 years ago in the UK but left my studies to emigrate to Australia. I kept in touch with my tutor who helped and encouraged me to continue with my photography in Australia.
I am a member of the AIPP and a member of one of the camera clubs based here in Perth. I have won local and state awards and have had my work exhibited.
I have photographed many weddings and portraits and life in general in WA and made lots of visible beautiful memories for lots of people.

I am now ready to get out and start making pictures that say so much more, pictures that tell a different story, pictures that could change an attitude, bring awareness and evoke emotion. I also want to put words to those pictures. I think Australia has a lot of stories to tell.

I have several projects in mind and I am hoping to exhibit some of my work at the Moores Building, in Fremantle later this year.

Photography is my job, my passion and my obsession. It is the way I express myself.

Specialities & interests: Photography and my family, especially my two beautiful boys.

Character studies..... big close up pictures of people's faces focusing totally on the eye which takes you to the heart.

Watching, reading, learning and doing.
