Multimedia working party at 1500GMT on Thursday, November 26th.
This 'working party' session is intended to be a seminar based activity to dig deeper into what the future of multimedia might be. It will be led by Ken Kobre (see his blog Prof. Kobre's Guide to Videojournalism)
As this is intended to be the first of a series of sessions, the agenda is open and we invite members to suggest items for debate; post them to the discussion forums in the multimedia group area here
the session will take place in the usual way as follows:
1. Attend the session by following this link. You may register and run the set-up wizard for Wimba anytime before the start of the session (this only needs to be done once). Ideally you should have a headset/mic combo to fully participate, but this is not essential.
2. If it is your first time using Wimba, we recommend you sign in to the webinar at least 15 minutes prior to the session to ensure everything is working.
3. If you are having any trouble during the webinar, there will be someone online that can help you.
4. Depending on the format of each webinar, there are options to interact with the presenters and other listeners by chat, voice, video, emoticons and voting. Each presentation will start with a quick guide on how the tools will be used for that webinar.
